At least three people have been killed in a Russian drone attack on the Ukrainian port city of Izmail on the Danube, the authorities said on Friday. The military governor of the southern Ukrainian region of Odessa, Oleh Kiper, announced on Telegram that at least 11 people were injured. He said the overnight attack damaged several residential buildings, other structures and cars. The river port of Izmail is crucial for Ukrainian grain exports.
