Iowa’s Cooper DeJean is off the board in the second round of the NFL Draft. The 6-foot-1, 203-pound Odebolt, IA native was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles at pick No. 40 overall. At Iowa, DeJean earned unanimous consensus All-American honors as a junior and was a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award and Bronko Nagurski Trophy. He was also named the Big Ten’s defensive back of the year and return specialist of the year this past season.
