Concerns are growing for the welfare of a man reported missing yesterday. Patrick Hughes was last seen at around 9am in the St Anne’s Road area of Tankerton, near Whitstable. The 76-year-old is described as white and around 5ft 8in, with white hair and a beard. Mr Hughes is known to have connections to Herne Bay, Whitstable and Canterbury. Police are growing concerned for his welfare and are asking people to check their outbuildings. Anyone who sees Mr Hughes or knows where he is should call 999 quoting reference 26-1619.
