World champion Max Verstappen was quickest in the final practice session for the Belgian Formula One Grand Prix which saw only little action due to heavy rain. The Red Bull driver clocked 2 minute 1.565 seconds on the iconic 7.003 Spa-Francorchamps circuit to place ahead of McLaren driver Oscar Piastri and Pierre Gasly of Alpine. The session was first interrupted early on when Lance Stroll crashed and damaged his Aston Martin in the wet conditions in the fast Eau Rouge section.
