The Israeli army has once again freed a hostage – a 52-year-old Bedouin man – being held by the Palestinian Islamist organization Hamas “in a complex operation in the southern Gaza Strip,” it said on Tuesday. The man is in “stable medical condition” and is being transported to hospital for medical checks. His family has been informed. “No further details can be published due to the considerations of the safety of our hostages, the security of our forces and national security,” the army said in a post on its Telegram channel.
