A man suffered life-threatening injuries after a suspected drink driver smashed into a lamppost. Officers are appealing for witnesses after a blue Kia Rio reportedly collided with the light in Ashford at about 11.10pm last night. A man who was in the vehicle sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
