Fewer Ukrainians will automatically receive asylum in Norway in the future, the Norwegian government announced on Friday. Six areas of western Ukraine are now deemed safe by the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration. People from these regions will be assessed under the same rules as applicants from other countries.
