German automotive supplier Schaeffler is planning a new plant in Dover in the US state of Ohio, where the company intends to manufacture components and systems for electric vehicles. Schaeffler announced on Monday from its headquarters in the Bavarian town of Herzogenaurach that more than $230 million would be invested in the Dover plant and in the expansion of the plant in nearby Wooster by 2032.
