Tokyo stocks opened slightly higher Monday as technology issues tracked advances by their U.S. counterparts late last week. In the first 15 minutes of trading, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average rose 63.53 points, or 0.16 percent, from Friday to 38,709.64. The broader Topix index was up 4.89 points, or 0.18 percent, at 2,747.43. On the top-tier Prime Market, gainers were led by marine transportation, electric power and gas, and insurance issues.
