A Norfolk man with a prior conviction for counterfeiting is heading back to prison after being sentenced to over three years for passing fake currency. Tyree Lamar Shoulders, 33, was sentenced to three years and one month in prison for his latest counterfeiting scheme. Court documents reveal that Shoulders passed counterfeit bills on at least three occasions between August and December of 2023. He used the fake money to purchase gasoline, candy, and even attempted to load money onto a bank card.
