An ambulance’s windscreen was shattered by an object thrown from a bridge over the A120 while it was responding to a 999 call. Detectives are treating the incident on the dual carriageway east of Stansted Airport as a case of criminal damage to a vehicle endangering life and have today (Tuesday August 27) issued an appeal for the public’s help.
