A main road has been blocked in both directions following a landslide. The Road of Remembrance, in Folkestone, is inaccessible due to a tree and soil covering the route. Danny Griggs saw the mess on the way home from the pub at 1am today, but the road still hasn’t reopened. He said: “I saw a car had stopped just ahead of us and I didn’t realise why it had until I actually got up close. “The obstruction covered both lanes and it’s definitely a landslide, not just a fallen tree, as there is soil everywhere. “It’ll need quite a big clean up, it’s the main road to get from the harbour to the town….
