Kansas State Offensive MVP: Avery JohnsonKansas State’s offense was inconsistent for most of the night versus Kansas. However, Avery Johnson was probably the most consistent player. The sophomore quarterback threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns and put the ball in tight windows. One of his best plays was on a rollout to Will Anciaux in the first half to tie the game at seven.
