Germany will participate with around 150 athletes and 100 coaches and officials at Friday night’s opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics. Led by judoka Anna-Maria Wagner and basketball player Dennis Schröder as flag bearers, the Germans will travel down the Seine in the third boat for the parade of nations, with the teams from Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria and South Africa also on board.
