Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody’s Office of Statewide Prosecution (OSP) secured a second 30-year prison sentence today in connection with the Amore Pools fraud case. Chrystal Washburn, co-owner of Amore Pools, was sentenced by Judge Dan L. Vaughn of the 19th Judicial Circuit for defrauding Florida homeowners out of over $1.2 million. According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigation, Washburn and her husband, Brian Washburn (previously sentenced in June 2024), ran a multi-million dollar pool contracting scheme.
