A football captain who is the highest scoring player in his club’s history hit his 150th goal milestone on Saturday. Newark Town captain Lewis Chambers — known as Chambo — celebrated the feat in the derby against Harrowby when he scored the only goal for his side. Chambers celebrated becoming his club’s all time goal scorer a year ago when he hit 115 goals and beating Simon Ellison’s previous record. “What a fantastic achievement this is for Chambo,” said a Newark Town spokesman. “He is always a threat in front of goal.”
