Israel’s military issued an ‘evacuation order’ on Saturday for a crowded part of Gaza designated as a humanitarian zone, saying it is planning an operation against Hamas in Khan Younis, including parts of the Al-Mawasi camp where thousands are seeking refuge. Despite destroying vast areas of Gaza and killing more than 39,000 people, the Israeli army continues to face resistance after ten months of war. UN and humanitarian officials have accused Israel of using disproportionate force in its war on Gaza.
