Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal has expressed concern over the rate at which Almajiris roam the streets begging for alms in the name of Quranic education. The governor noted that the situation has become worrisome, perplexing and embarrassing to the Muslim community. He disclosed this during the commissioning of the State Almajiri Integrated Quranic School in Gummi which was commissioned by the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar 111.
