Xiaomi seems to be preparing to launch the Xiaomi 14T series of smartphones. The recent appearance of the global variant of the Xiaomi 14T Pro in the NBTC certification database in Thailand sheds light on the technical characteristics of the upcoming phone.

The NBTC certificate confirms the model number (2407FPN8EG) and the name of the phone – Xiaomi 14T Pro. It also shows support for GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and NR communications.

Additional information comes from the Camera FV-5 database, which indicates a main rear camera with f/1.6 aperture, 12.6 megapixel resolution and optical image stabilization (OIS).

The 12.6-megapixel resolution means that we can expect the phone to be equipped with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The selfie camera may have an aperture of f/2.0 and will capture 8.1 megapixel resolution. We may also see Leica co-branding for the cameras, similar to Xiaomi’s flagship models.

Xiaomi 14T Pro is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor built on a 4nm process technology.

The SoC has one 3.25 GHz Cortex-X4 core, three 2.85 GHz Cortex-X4 cores, four 2.0 GHz Cortex-A720 cores, and a Mali-G720 Immortalis MP12 graphics processor.

The 14T series is expected to be the first in Xiaomi’s T series to support wireless charging. Our previous report also said that the Xiaomi 14T series will be equipped with displays from Tianma.

The Xiaomi T series usually distinguishes between standard and Pro models by the processor. Both the 13T and 13T Pro had similar cameras and battery capacity. This trend will continue in the 14T series.

In terms of launch, the Xiaomi 14T series is expected to hit the market sometime in August or September. However, there is uncertainty about the launch of the Xiaomi 14T series in India, as Xiaomi missed the launch of the 12T and 13T series in the country.
