Former Emir of Gaya, Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir, says he has accepted his removal, saying it was an act of God. Abdulkadir was one the first-class kings appointed by the former governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje. The emirs were on Thursday sacked after the incumbent governor Abba Kabir Yusuf signed the repeal of the law which balkanised the Kano Emirates.
