Two celebrity guests, more than 2,000 attendees and a whole host of traditional countryside fun spelled a successful 102nd year for a ploughing match. The annual Flintham and District Ploughing Match and Show was held yesterday (Thursday, September 26) at Hawksworth Manor, and boasted a bumper day of country attractions from the Shetland Pony Grand National to ploughing, hedge laying, livestock and equestrian competitions.
