Prominent Russian human rights activist Oleg Orlov has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison for criticizing Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. A Moscow court found the 70-year-old, who once co-chaired the Nobel Peace Prize-winning organization Memorial, guilty on Tuesday of allegedly repeatedly “discrediting” Russia’s army.
