Although Oppo’s Find X7 series has been on the market for only a few months, rumors about its successor, the Find X8 series, are already in full swing. Today, Digital Chat Station shared some details about the upcoming series in a post on Weibo.

According to DCS, the Find X8 Ultra will debut next year, and clarified that this year’s “strongest flagship” from Oppo is the Find X7 Ultra.

While the post doesn’t provide specific details about the Find X8 phones, the whistleblower said in the comments that the Find X8 and X8 Pro will have a glass back.

Also, in another comment, the insider notes that among the Oppo Find X8 phones, there may be one model with a flat screen and another with a 2.7D curve on all four sides.

Another Weibo insider previously hinted that both the Find X8 and Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset. However, the top-end Ultra model is rumored to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.

Earlier today, a separate leak suggested that the Find X8 series could have a 6000 mAh battery, which is larger than the 5000 mAh in the Find X7 phones. Another leak suggested that the devices could be officially announced sometime in October.

In addition, there were mentions of the Xiaomi 15 and Vivo X200 phones, which will be launched in October. Qualcomm is expected to unveil its flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip in October, and MediaTek is likely to announce the Dimensity 9400 around the same time. Smartphone manufacturers will be competing to be the first to release smartphones on these new SoCs.
