Ukrainian athletes took part in the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics in Paris. The ship with Ukrainian Olympians traveled along the Seine. The opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics began at 8:30 PM Kyiv time. A total of 58 Ukrainian athletes participated in the event. The flag bearers for Team Ukraine were tennis player Elina Svitolina and swimmer Mykhailo Romanchuk.
