German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has expressed his relief at the release of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. “The federal chancellor welcomes the resolution of this case and the fact that Mr Assange is now free again,” government spokesman Steffen Hebestreit said in Berlin on Wednesday.
