A major road has been re-opened after a crash involving a car and a van earlier today. The A47 eastbound between the A1122 and the A1065 in Swaffham was closed due to the two-vehicle collision this morning. Emergency services were sent to the scene, including paramedics, an ambulance officer vehicle, and firefighters. Five patients were assessed at the scene, with two taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment. The other three patients suffered minor injuries and were discharged at the scene.
