Police have arrested one person for throwing Molotov cocktails at security forces in Brussels during farmers protests. Two police officers were injured and transferred to hospital, according to a statement from the Belgian police. The Belgian police said tear gas was deployed against farmers to stop them from breaking through police barriers with tractors. A total of 250 tractors travelled to the Belgian capital to take part in the protests. Farmers also set fire to large quantities of straw and tyres near EU institution buildings, police said.
