The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, embarked on a desperate search for the next head coach of the Super Eagles before they eventually appointed Bruno Labbadia. According to BBC Sport, the NFF also spoke to Greece manager, Gustavo Poyet, another former Jose Mourinho assistant, Aitor Karanka and ex-Italy defender, Fabio Cannavaro.
