Harvard Professor Noah Feldman,writing for Bloomberg, overlooks the most simple reason why the U.S. Supreme Court must reverse the Colorado Supreme Court ruling barring Donald Trump as a candidate in that state. The country has an insurrection statute that Congress passed. If Trump is guilty of insurrection, it needs to be determined by indictment, trial by jury and conviction beyond a reasonable doubt before a federal court that Congress has set up or this purpose.
