Two promotion chasers from Division 2B of the Cambs County League clashed when Outwell Swifts entertained Wisbech St Mary Reserves in the North Cambs Junior Cup – and it was the home side who battled through to the semi-finals. Swifts won 4-2 on penalty kicks after the game ended 1-1. Saints were leading 1-0 through Jamie Leet and Swifts were down to 10 men with 30 minutes remaining, after the sending off of Daniel Cowell, but new signing Ben Garner came off the bench to equalise.
