Defensively, Chelsea were not great once again in their draw with Aston Villa last night. Mauricio Pochettino‘s men conceded twice in the first half, with Marc Cucurella turning the ball into his own net for Aston Villa’s first goal. However, going forward, they were better compared to Tuesday night in their 5-0 defeat to Arsenal. Noni Madueke and Conor Gallagher both managed to get their names on the scoresheet, with the latter’s strike being an excellent one.
