A pilot and a passenger have made a miracle escape after their plane crash-landed on a busy road in Gloucestershire. A glider was forced to suddenly land on the A419 Stroud Road near Aston Down airfield in Frampton Mansell at about 4.45pm on Tuesday when one of its wings came off. Two members of the Cotswold Gliding Club were involved in the incident, the club confirmed in a statement, and pictures show the pair sitting in the cockpit after the crash landing.
