Earlier this month, Oppo announced the launch of the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro. Both are the first phones based on the Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset. According to reports, the Reno 12 family also includes Reno 12F 5G and 4G versions. In Thailand, the Chinese manufacturer introduced Reno 12F 5G. Here are the specifications, features, and price of the device.

Technical characteristics

Oppo Reno 12F 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, and maximum brightness of up to 2100 nits. It has a fingerprint sensor and is protected by the AGC DT-Star 2 security layer.

Under the hood, the Reno 12F 5G is powered by a Dimensity 6300 chipset, 8GB/12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB/512GB UFS 2.2 storage. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging capability. The phone runs on Android 14 based on ColorOS 14.0.1. It comes with support for Oppo AI features for better photography, better connectivity, and performance.

Oppo Reno 12F 5G has a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies. The rounded rear panel houses a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The Reno 12F offers other features such as dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, up to 8 GB of virtual memory, and a microSD card slot. The device is IP54-rated, measures 163.1 x 75.8 x 7.76 mm and weighs 187 grams.

Reno 12F 5G is available in two variants: 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. The starting price of the device is 11,999 Thai baht (~326 USD). It is available in such colors as olive green and amber orange.
