HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A road rage incident escalated into gunfire Tuesday on South Falkenburg Road in Hillsborough County. Two drivers heading northbound became involved in an altercation, during which one driver shot at the other vehicle. A 16-year-old female passenger in the targeted vehicle was struck by a bullet and taken to Tampa General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The drivers of both vehicles were unharmed.
