British supermodel, Naomi Campbell, has been banned from being a United Kingdom charity trustee. Naomi was banned for five years after a UK watchdog found charity funds were spent on luxury spa treatments and hotels. The UK Charity Commission, which registers and regulates charities in England and Wales, said following a three-year investigation into the financial activities, “only 8.5% of the charity’s overall expenditure went on charitable grants in a six-year period from 2016”.
