A teenager has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car outside a school. The incident happened near the entrance to The Charles Dickens School in Broadstairs shortly before 8.30am. It involved a teenage girl and one other vehicle. Police, paramedics and the air ambulance attended the scene at the entrance to the school. Kent Police has now confirmed the casualty has been taken to a London hospital by helicopter after sustaining injuries.
