Austrian Stefan Kraft was crowned the ski-flying world champion on Saturday on his county’s famous Kulm hill after a monster last jump in a truncated programme. Ski flying is exactly like ski jumping except the hills are much larger and jumpers “fly” a lot further. At the halfway point after two jumps, Timi Zajc from Slovenia was in the lead ahead of local hero Kraft – also the World Cup leader. The third round of four was delayed due to strong winds.
