Danish family-owned toymaker Lego said on Wednesday it significantly increased both its sales and profits in the first half of 2024, driven by strong demand for its brick model sets in the Americas and Europe. The Lego Group posted a net profit of 6 billion Danish kroner ($895 million) in the first six months of the year, a year-on-year increase of 16%. Sales increased by 13% to 31 billion kroner.
