A mobility scooter rider was airlifted to hospital after being hit by a car on a seafront road. Police and paramedics attended the scene of the incident in The Beach, Walmer, near Deal. An air ambulance was also called shortly before 2pm yesterday (Tuesday). It led to the male casualty being flown to a London hospital to be treated for his injuries.
