A German climate activist with the Last Generation group has been given a prison term of 22 months for his part in street blockades, a spokeswoman for a district court in Berlin confirmed to dpa on Tuesday. The 65-year-old was sentenced to a prison term without parole. He was found guilty of coercion, attempted coercion and resisting law enforcement officers. The judgement can be appealed.
