Disruption is continuing on the trains through Newbury this morning (Friday), writes Jemima Kerr. The lines have just reopened having been shut all morning due to a fault with the signalling system. All lines had been blocked meaning train services were cancelled or delayed. Disruption is expected to continue for several hours still. GWR have said: “We’re sorry for the delay to your journey”.
