A busy route was shut for almost three hours after a three-car collision injured two people. The crash happened on the A28 near Shalmsford Street, Chartham, at about 5.30pm yesterday. Emergency services were at the scene, and the road was closed in both directions during the evening rush hour. Paramedics treated two people at the scene but no serious injuries were reported.
