Xiaomi is preparing to launch the long-awaited Pad 7 series of tablets, which will replace the successful Pad 6 series. This new line is expected to be represented by two models: Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro. The Pro model has already appeared in the Chinese 3C certification, as well as in the Singaporean IMDA database. Now, DCS (Digital Chat Station) has revealed some key details about these upcoming tablets.

According to a recent post by DCS on Weibo, the Xiaomi Pad 7 will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, an 11-inch 3K LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 10,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging.

Previous leaks claim that the Pad 7 Pro will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a 144Hz OLED display. The battery capacity and charging speed are expected to be the same as the standard Pad 7. DSC also reported that both of these tablets will debut with the HyperOS 2.0 operating system, which is expected to be released alongside the Xiaomi 15 series.

These tablets were previously rumored to debut in Q3 2024, but are now expected to arrive in October alongside the Xiaomi 15 series. Both tablets will be released in the Chinese market first and are likely to appear on the global market later. Since the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro has already passed Singapore’s IMDA certification, we at least know that the brand plans to ship these tablets outside of China at some point.
