A lawyer, Dejo Adeyanju, has on behalf of assaulted cab driver, Stephen Abuwatseya, petitioned the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Kayode Egbetokun over the action of a House of Representatives member from Abia State, Alexander Mascot Ikwechegh. The chambers of Deji Adeyanju and Partners said the IGP should prosecute Ikwechegh for “grievous assault, abuse of power, attempted murder, and threat to life”.
