Honor has officially launched its new flagship Honor 200 series in China. This lineup includes two models: Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro. In this article, we will take a look at the specifications of the standard Honor 200 model. Let’s dive in.
Honor 200 specifications:
The Honor 200 features a 6.7-inch, four-edge OLED display with a resolution of 2664×1200, which supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a high-frequency PWM brightness control of 3840 Hz. It boasts a localized peak brightness of 4000 nits and can display 1.07 billion colors. The screen also features natural light-like eye protection and sleep-aided display technology, and has been certified flicker-free by Germany’s Rheinland TÜV organization.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset along with an Adreno 720 GPU. For efficient heat dissipation, the Honor 200 is equipped with a 2.0 cooling system that covers the entire cold drive domain. The cooling system boasts an extremely large VC area of 5029 mm², which contributes to an impressive total heat dissipation area of 34696 mm². Despite the large cooling capacity, the system remains slim at approximately 0.3 mm, making the device sleek and easy to use.
The device is available in five versions in terms of memory and RAM: 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB. Out of the box, the phone runs on MagicOS 8.0, an operating system based on Android 14.
The phone has several special features, such as one-click blockbuster video creation, semantic gallery search, dynamic capsule, magic lock screen, and various smart modes for multitasking and personalization.
In terms of optics, the rear camera consists of a triple camera system: a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/1.95 aperture and OIS, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture and OIS, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle macro camera with f/2.2 aperture.
The rear camera supports 4K video recording and 50x digital zoom. It also offers numerous shooting modes, including night mode, portrait mode, and AI photography. The front-facing camera has a 50MP wide-angle lens with f/2.1 aperture, 4K video recording, and multiple shooting modes, including portrait and night mode.
Honor 200 is equipped with a 5200 mAh battery with a 100 W ultra-fast charging function. The battery can charge the phone up to 57% in just 15 minutes. The device has an AI-enabled smart charging mode that intelligently detects users’ charging habits and adjusts charging protection strategies based on various factors to ensure an optimal charging experience.
It supports dual SIM cards with different network standards, including 5G and 4G. In terms of connectivity, the Honor 200 supports WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.3, infrared remote control, and NFC. The device is also equipped with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. For audio playback, the device is equipped with stereo speakers with Histen 7.1 audio effects.
The Honor 200 measures 161.5 mm in length, 74.6 mm in width and 7.7 mm in thickness, and weighs approximately 187 grams.

Honor 200 is available in Moonlight White, Coral Pink, Velvet Black, and Sea Blue colors.
It is priced at 2699 yuan ($372) for the 12GB+256GB version, 2999 yuan ($414) for the 12GB RAM+512GB and 16GB RAM+256GB versions, and 3199 yuan ($442) for the 16GB RAM+512GB version. The pre-sale will begin on May 27, 2024 at 20:30, and the official sale will start on May 31, 2024 at 10:08.
