As planned, OnePlus has released the Pad Pro tablet. According to Business Standard, the OnePlus Pad Pro is positioned as an improved version of the OnePlus Pad released last February with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, not as a successor.

Main features

OnePlus Pad Pro offers a great performance boost with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It is combined with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. For reference, this device reaches 2316067 AnTuTu scores, which certainly sets a new record for Android tablets.

Externally, the device is equipped with a 12.1-inch 3K IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 900 nits. To give you a better idea, the pixel density of the panel is 303PPI, which is higher than a 6.5-inch smartphone with a 720p display. The screen has an exclusive golden 7:5 aspect ratio.

The panel is also considered safe for the eyes thanks to Bright Eye Protection technology, which supports DC dimming, hardware low blue light, natural light reflection, melatonin protection, and ultra-precise adaptation to ambient light.

Last year’s OnePlus Pad is equipped with a slightly smaller (11.61″) display with a slightly lower (296PPI) pixel density. However, the new device has the same 9510 mAh battery and supports 67W wired charging.

The new tablet also offers some innovations in connectivity features and improves connectivity between devices to make it easier to transfer files or mirror a screen.

Price

The OnePlus Pad Pro is available in four storage configurations – 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB. The corresponding prices are listed below.
