Former German international Lars Stindl will end his career after the season which he played in a return to boyhood club Karlsruhe. “It was an incredibly beautiful and intense time, with many highs but also some difficult moments,” Stindl said in a statement issued by second division Karlsruhe on Thursday. “It was a dream come true for me last summer to have returned to my home club.
