Recently, a new Vivo phone with the model number V2410A was approved by China’s 3C certification platform. The same device, which is believed to be the upcoming Vivo Y300 Pro 5G, was also recently spotted on the Geekbench database. Today, Jia Jingdong, Vivo’s vice president of brand and general manager of brand and product strategy, confirmed the launch date, key features, and design of the Y300 Pro.

According to Jingdong, the Vivo Y300 Pro will be the latest addition to the Vivo Y series, which has earned a reputation for being a rugged, convenient and popular device serving more than 300 million users worldwide. This device is an example of Vivo’s “decentralization” strategy, where advanced features typically found in flagship phones are introduced to the Y series, making it highly competitive in its category. However, the Y300 Pro goes beyond this approach by adopting a “leapfrog development” strategy, introducing the latest and most powerful features before they appear in the flagship models, delivering a significant improvement in user experience.

The Vivo Y300 Pro 5G also introduces Vivo’s latest display technology, featuring a 6.77-inch OLED screen with micro-square curvature. The display brightness is 5000 nits, making it ideal for outdoor use. The screen is designed with eye protection in mind, incorporating technologies such as blue light filtering and anti-strobe functions. The National Ophthalmic Engineering Center and SGS have certified it for eye protection. In terms of durability, Vivo Y300 is certified by SGS for drop resistance, dust and water resistance.

The main feature of the Y300 Pro is the 6500 mAh Blue Ocean battery, which provides up to 12.1 hours of gaming time on a single charge. Despite the massive battery, the phone remains incredibly thin (7.69 mm) and is designed for five years of use. It supports 80W wired charging, wireless charging, and reverse charging. Vivo’s innovative Extreme Graphite Technology achieves this high energy efficiency by optimizing the battery structure to maximize capacity without increasing its size.

The Y300 Pro features a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back and a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. In terms of design and camera features, the Y300 Pro impresses with its flagship design language, including a jade lens ring and 360-degree sun texture.

The phone also enhances the popular “career mode”, now in its second generation, specifically designed for professional use by riders, with features such as enhanced speakerphone, improved network optimization, and intelligent assistance during delivery tasks. The Y300 Pro is available in four different color options: Titanium, Jade with Gold Inlay, Lamb’s Fat White, and Jade Black.

According to Geekbench, Vivo Y300 Pro will be equipped with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, and Android 14. The device will replace last year’s Vivo Y200 Pro model based on Snapdragon 695.
