It was announced Monday afternoon that Kentucky Baseball will be the No. 2 National Seed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, its highest national seed in program history. The Cats will be joined in the Lexington Regional by Indiana State, Illinois, and Western Michigan. If Kentucky can make it out of the Lexington Regional for the second consecutive season, Kentucky Proud Park would play host to its first ever Super Regional.
