Twice tried and twice convicted, former Wood-Ridge resident Daniel Rochat has once again been sentenced to life in prison for the 2012 murder and torching of Bergen County realtor Barbara Vernieri. Rochat, 49, continued to maintain his innocence on Friday as Judge Christopher Kazlau handed down another life sentence in Bergen County Superior Court.
